Editorial Policy

How reference data is sourced, labelled and corrected.

Bikepick Team·30 Aug 2026·1 min read

Our standard

Bikepick publishes reference data (brands, models, variants, on-road prices, launch dates, price history). Our editorial standard:

  • **Sourced, not invented.** Every data point is either entered from a verifiable source (manufacturer announcements, price cards, public price listings) or marked "Not available". Where a figure is an approximation, it is labelled "Estimated".
  • **No fabrication.** We do not invent specifications, reviews, test rides or mileage claims. If we do not have a figure, we show "N/A".
  • **Corrections.** If you find an error, email contact@bikepick.in with the source. We review corrections and update or annotate the record.
  • **Updates.** Reference data is updated periodically, not in real time. On-road prices in particular vary by city and change with ex-showroom revisions.

What we do not publish

  • Invented or AI-hallucinated content
  • Reviews we have not actually conducted
  • Unattributed claims about quality, reliability or ownership costs

Content from users

Listings, photos and descriptions on the platform are user-generated. We moderate for obvious fraud and illegality, but we are not the author of that content and do not guarantee its accuracy.

Editorial policy. Bikepick guides are written independently. Dealers and advertisers cannot pay to appear in, or be removed from, our editorial content, and paid placements never affect the Bikepick Score. Read our editorial policy.
